These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between Seastarfix (“Seastarfix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and you (the person using our services, whether for yourself or on behalf of your employer). By using our website, purchasing services, or clicking “I Accept” or “I Agree”, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Refund Policy
One-Time Services
- Refund requests must be made within three (3) calendar days from the purchase date (“Redemption Period”).
- Refunds will only be given if service was not provided to your satisfaction and the request is made within the Redemption Period.
- Shipping, handling, and taxes are non-refundable (unless required by law).
Subscription Services
- You may cancel within five (5) days of purchase for a pro-rated refund, provided:
- You have not used any support services.
- Your request is made within the five-day period.
General Refund Rules
- Refunds are limited to the amount paid for the service.
- Non-refundable items will have their full retail value deducted from refunds.
- If returning part of a discounted bundle, the bundle discount will be void and deducted from the refund.
- Some jurisdictions may provide additional refund rights beyond these Terms.
2. Acceptance of Terms
- You must be at least 16 years old to use our services.
- Each “service” is considered a single incident unless otherwise stated.
3. Scope of Services
We provide remote assistance for:
- Internet setup, fault repair, browser support, and performance optimization.
- Installation and configuration of antivirus, anti-spyware, firewalls, and data backup solutions.
We do not provide:
- On-site service.
- Hardware repairs or replacements.
- Guarantees on hardware/software performance.
- Support for software or issues not listed on our website.
4. Service Conditions
- Service is available via phone, chat, or email only.
- Accounts are limited to the number of devices specified in your plan.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- We are not liable for losses caused by shared or compromised passwords.
- All remote sessions are monitored.
- You must follow our technicians’ instructions for support to be valid.
5. Limited Warranty
- If we cannot resolve your issue remotely after you meet all requirements, you will not be charged for one-time services.
- For ongoing services, contact us within five (5) days for a re-attempt or a refund if unsuccessful.
6. Use of Software & Tools
We may require you to install software for diagnostics, remote control, or performance optimization. By using our services, you agree to comply with all applicable software license agreements. Trial software may be installed and will expire unless purchased.
7. Modifications & Termination
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue services without notice.
- We may terminate services for any reason, refunding unused fees unless you have breached these Terms (in which case no refund is issued).
- Upon termination, your account and data may be deleted.
8. Plan Validity
- Single-incident plans are valid for 30 days.
- Multi-month plans are valid for the specified term.
- Unused incidents expire at plan end.
9. Third-Party Products
Any third-party products or software provided are subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for their performance or licensing.
10. Exclusions
We do not cover services outside your plan scope or caused by:
- Misuse, abuse, accidents, or power issues.
- Failure to follow instructions.
- Incompatible hardware or software.
